Battle Merchant - Medieval Falchion Blunt Blade
The Falchion is a one-handed, single-edged sword of European origin, which is strongly influenced in design by the Persian scimitar and the Chinese Dao. This weapon combines the weight and power of an axe with the versatility of a sword. Falchions appear in various shapes and were developed from the 11. century until the end of the 16. used in the 19th century.
This falchion features a heavy steel blade with a blunt edge. The finely crafted, curved quillon as well as the round sword pommel are made of brass. The handle is wrapped in black leather.
The sword comes with a leather scabbard, which has a chape and throat made of brass, as well as carrying rings.
