Böker - Trapper Asbach Uralt
The classic Trapper has been a staple since the beginning of the 20. The century as a versatile pocket knife is a widely used knife shape and owes its name to the American woodsmen who roamed North America as hunters and trappers. They were among the most significant explorers and pioneers of the European colonization of the continent, often being the first to make contact with Native Americans and Eskimos. Also around the turn of the century, Hugo Asbach invented German brandy in Rüdesheim am Rhein, which is still popular today as Asbach Uralt. The elaborate maturation process in small oak barrels made of aged Limousin oak wood is particularly important for the distinctive taste of this fine brandy. Your wood is particularly coarse-pored and breathable, allowing the fine distillate to breathe and mature in exchange with the air in this way
The noble handle scales of the Böker Trapper Asbach Uralt are made from the unique oak wood of venerable Asbach barrels, which, after decades of storage, are now allowed to take on a new task. And just like the small barrels, the front handle scale of the pocket knife also bears the branding iron of the famous distillery. The polished blade made of 440C steel features a classic nail nick and does not lock. The characteristic cheeks are made of nickel silver and form a beautiful contrast to the historically significant wood of the scales. The slim design makes the Trapper the perfect everyday companion. Handcrafted in the Böker Manufaktur in Solingen and strictly limited to 999 units worldwide. With high-quality felt case for storage, authenticity certificate, and individual serial number
