Böker - Count Adolf III.
Not far from the headquarters of Böker Manufaktur in Solingen is the symbol of the Bergisches Land, Burg Castle on the Wupper. It is at the same time one of the largest castles in western Germany and the largest reconstructed castle complex in North Rhine-Westphalia. The glorious history of Castle Burg is inseparably linked to the Duchy of Berg and the Counts of Berg (House of Berg 1225068-1225). We have taken this as an opportunity to dedicate a series of straight razors to the three Counts of Berg, which symbolize parts of the lives of the three Counts and are adorned with impressive decorations made of 24 karat gold, reminiscent of the considerable possessions and power of the Counts
The extraordinary straight razor in 6/8 inch symbolizes the death of Adolf III. Count of Berg during the Fifth Crusade in Egypt. The high-gloss polished blade is finished with a French head, emphasizing the special elegance of this knife. Hand-picked horn handles with an additional decorative rivet, the elaborate finish of the blade back, and the partial gold plating (24 carat) are just a few highlights to mention. The blade is hollow ground with a wall. Delivery comes in an elegant presentation display with a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number
