Ulfberth - Vendel Period Spangenhelm with Chainmail Coif L
In the style of a Vendel Period spectacle helmet, we have developed this fully combat-ready visored helmet. It is suitable for display from approx. 550 n. Chrome. up to the Viking Age (end 1.6066). The helmet skullcap consists of two welded, 1.6 mm thick sheet metal parts, which are reinforced by the overlapping, riveted iron bands (straps). The handcrafted from two steel sheets Glasses reaches well below the wearer's nose. It is also riveted to the helmet. The chain mail coif is attached to it and to the helmet rim made of un-riveted spring steel rings (inner diameter 8mm). The helmet features a riveted, very high-quality, adjustable padding insert along with a sturdy leather chin strap and brass buckle. He is suitable for tough re-enactments such as. the "Battle of the Nations" -> "Battle of the Nations" Designed. From the Vendel era, a period that predates the Viking Age, numerous artifacts, jewelry, weapons, and pieces of armor have been preserved.
