Fällkniven - A1 Expedition Knife with Zytel Sheath
Survival Knife A1 Zytel Sheath
The Fallkniven A1 has set a new global standard by considering important details such as technical design, ergonomics, and cost-effectiveness. The A1 Expedition Knife exceeds international standards in terms of strength, personal safety, and value for money
The A1 Expedition Knife is a larger-sized all-purpose knife designed for tough use. The powerful blade is made of extremely hard and tough laminated VG10 steel and withstands the stresses of heavy use. With its ergonomic handle, the knife is excellently suited for both cutting and finer daily cutting tasks. The full tang goes completely through the handle, allowing you to strike with the end without breaking the handle. The sturdy black leather sheath allows you to attach the knife to your belt or bag, and even on your head. The A1 Expedition Knife is unaffected by water and performs equally well in extreme cold and stifling heat
Title sheath
The injection-molded Zytel sheath provides a simple, secure, and strong combination of features that every user appreciates. The one-handed operable Zytel sheath is easy to clean
A1 black coating
If your needs require that no reflections come from your blade, we offer a black CeraKote option. The CeraKote is an extremely durable surface coating that also protects the blade from corrosion. CeraKote consists of a hard coating of Teflon and ceramic, which we developed for military units and other knife enthusiasts to prevent a shiny blade. However, please note that while CeraKote is an industry standard, it is also just a surface treatment of the metal blade, similar to painting a car. Please note that physical abrasions can scratch through the CeraKote coating. Over time, the black CeraKote on the blade may peel off, but more durable coatings make it difficult to sharpen the knife and cost up to 1100 times more than CeraKote
Attaching a black surface to a stainless, perfectly smooth blade in such a way that it adheres for time and eternity is impossible.
We have tested some extremely hard coatings, but they have proven to be significantly more expensive and make it harder to sharpen the knife
