Description
Böker Magnum - White Oak Tanto
The Bokken, commonly referred to as Bokuto in Japan, is a wooden sword primarily used in Japanese martial arts such as Iaido, Aikido, Kenjutsu, or Kendo. Instead of using sharp swords like Katana or Wakizashi, the wooden version provides a much safer way to practice various forms of exercises. The small Magnum Tanto made of unfinished white oak corresponds to the dimensions of a knife and is particularly suitable for practicing disarming techniques. By treating with oil (e.g. the Böker camellia oil) gives the wood additional protection against dirt and moisture and increases grip compared to lacquered wood when hands are sweaty
