Böker - Boy Scout Stag
The Böker Scout has been closely associated with our name since 1985. Whether anyone back then would have expected that the pocket knife would become one of the most successful and popular knives in our range, no one can say for sure today. But these many years are definitely a special feature in times of short-lived fashion trends, which are not uncommon even in the knife market. The variants of the Scout were probably as numerous during this time as hardly any other model, however, the key data was never changed
The Böker Boy Scout breaks with this tradition and offers a reduced, pocket-friendly version with the same construction, which excels primarily as a compact everyday companion. With a significantly reduced blade length, the Boy Scout also builds much flatter, but is just as robust and resilient as its larger brother. For increased precision, the nickel silver bowls are CNC-machined. The hollow-ground blade made of stainless N690 steel is forged by Böhler and contributes to the unique appearance of the Scout with its distinctive shape. A classic backlock takes over the locking and keeps the blade securely open
The mechanism hidden inside the handle consists of a bolt rocker and a spring. When the blade is unfolded, the bolt lever engages with a recess in the blade and locks it in place. The rear end of the bolt lever is not completely covered by the handle, but due to a small recess on the back of the handle, it is partially exposed and can be operated. When the exposed rear end of the bolt lever is pressed, the hook lifts out of the notch, releasing the lock so that the blade can be folded in. The pleasantly shaped handle scales made of genuine stag horn complete the harmonious image of this classic
