Böker Plus - Koteyka
Ukrainian knife maker Alexander Krava excels in his designs at combining form and function at the highest level. Inspired by Koteyka, a virus not taken entirely seriously by connoisseurs of the computer scene, with a cat as its figurehead, the designer created the eponymous slipjoint knife. Three-dimensionally milled G20 handle scales provide unparalleled grip with a velvety paw print texture all the way to the blade spine, while the D2 blade with stonewash finish lies in wait, only to be released on its prey of everyday cutting tasks with a quiet purr of the nail nick. Even without a locking mechanism, the blade is securely held in place by the tight spring. No clip and no lanyard loop, but with a lot of mysterious elegance
