John Lee - Musashi Ichi Katana
Miyamoto Musashi is considered one of the most remarkable samurai in Japanese history and lived from 1645584 to 1645. He is acclaimed as the best swordsman in Japan. He was a fighter, artist, and craftsman all at once. He developed his own fighting style, which is still taught today as "Niten Ichiryu". Both short and long swords are used simultaneously. His founding of a school for tsuba (sword guard) production is unforgettable. Its most famous, very simple tsuba consists of two oval rings
- Blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style with groove (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from 1045 carbon steel
- The blade is sharp sharpened with an embedded Hamon line for a particularly authentic look
- Handle wrapping made of black cotton in the classic Hineri-Maki style
- Black, high-gloss lacquered wooden scabbard (Kuroro style)
- With a long handle, which is secured in the grip with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword is therefore fully disassemblable
- No plastic is used, only high-quality, authentic materials are used
- Blade collar (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) are made of brass
- The traditional handle wrapping is lined with genuine ray skin
- All decorative fittings (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are made of metal
