BattleBlades - Gokudo Aikuchi
BattleBlades - Gokudo Aikuchi BattleBlades
The Aikuchi Short Sword
One of the best hand-forged swords by BattleBlades
The impressive Gokudo Aikuchi is a compact, one-handed Shirasaya short sword that combines the flawless aesthetics of Japanese blade art with absolute performance.
From the first sketch to the forging, the creation of this weapon was a time-consuming task. The goal of BattleBlades was to forge a perfectly balanced, sharp sword with high cutting power and flawless handling. The sori (blade curvature), wide motohaba, and generous kissaki were carefully planned and implemented in this process.
Polished and sharp Aikuchi sword
The Nagasa, completely hand-forged from T10 steel, has been hazuya polished and sharpened. The whole is complemented by an appealing Shinogi line, an extra-long Kissaki, and a Hamon created by hardening in a clay coat. The result is one of the finest samurai swords ever forged by BattleBlades
The hardwood Tsuka is wrapped in black Samegawa ray skin and decorated on both sides with specially made Menukis in silver. A custom-made and carefully fitted copper [[Habaki]] ensures an impressive look.
The custom-made scabbard made of hardwood features unique kojiri, kurikata, and koikuchi made of genuine buffalo horn. Under the high-quality silk Sageo, the Saya is wrapped with Samegawa ray skin. For an extra touch of elegance, it was painted entirely in black.
The Gokudo Aikuchi is a masterpiece that will not disappoint you. The samurai sword will be delivered with an embroidered BattleBlades Inc. sword bag made of silk and a numbered certificate of authenticity
