Battle Merchant - Small Viking Sax with Bone Handle
This small utility knife from the Viking Age (also known for its special blade shape) gebrochener Rücken The "Sax" features a short, hand-forged blade made of carbon steel with a sturdy back. The polished bone handle, adorned with beautiful Nordic engravings on both sides, is a real eye-catcher. It closes towards the blade with a brass ferrule, and at the other end, the handle cap, also made of brass, has a practical eyelet with a generous brass ring for attaching a lanyard or for easy removal of the knife from the sheath (lanyard not included).
The Viking Age seax comes with a sturdy, intricately decorated sheath made of vegetable-tanned leather with hand-embossed knot designs in Nordic style. Brass fittings with antique finish - rivets, a reinforcement plate, and two elegant hanging rings in the shape of winding snakes - visually complement the sheath beautifully.
Although the knife is fully functional, the blade has been left blunt. If necessary, it would need to be sharpened for daily use. Please note, however, that this Viking knife is primarily intended for collectors or. designed as a decorative object. The blade tip is not rounded and not suitable for stage combat!
